Many the hour has been spent browsing away on Pinterest for inspiration then I find an artist’s or designer’s site and realize unwittingly that I’m a fan of huge chunks of their work. Seeing them disparately in pins, posts and likes here and there I’ve decided to start spotlighting work I’ve seen in one place. This gives them the recognition they deserve and works as a directory if I ever need to use their talents in future collabs.
Today I begin with illustrator Jade Purple Brown (What A NAME!) I’ve seen and admired many of her pieces. With energetic colours and use of large graphic shapes here work is both elegant and vibrantly expressive. Jade’s based in New York and has worked with Nike, Sephora, Tinder, Toyota and has the marks of classic style that in years to come will still inspire.
